La borsa italiana da qualche giorno da segni di risveglio.
Oggi panic selling dei titoli dei vaccini dopo la notizia del vaccino russo. Ho fatto alcuni acquisti.

Giá, Vaxart l’ho presa e ricomprata qualche giorno fa, ha intorno a se molto interesse perché sta sviluppando un vaccino in compresse per uso orale, sulla cui efficacia ho molti dubbi.

Quando si dice vederci lungo... già ad Agosto dubitavo sull’efficacia del vaccino orale Vaxart...
E oggi:
Shares of Vaxart Inc. VXRT, -53.28% tumbled 42.9% in premarket trading on Wednesday after the company said its oral COVID-19 vaccine candidate was well-tolerated in a Phase 1 clinical trial but it did not generate neutralizing antibodies among participants. Vaxart said its experimental vaccine was immunogenic in the preliminary results; however, it also said that neutralizing antibodies were not detected in serum or IgG antibodies were not found in "most subjects." IgG antibodies are often detected in people who have recovered from a COVID-19 infection.

Sospesa a 3,73 dollari per il momento. Incredibile la borsa americana, ok io ero già dentro, ma immagino un tizio che l'ha comprata venti poco fa a 2 dollari e ha fatto l'80% in venti minuti.

Io l’avevo ripresa a 2,6, ora in leggero guadagno.

Sinceramente non saprei che take profit considerare. Tu che dici?

Ovviamente i paragoni lasciano il tempo che trovano, Novavax vale 16 miliardi, Ocugen prende il 45% dei profitti, non potrebbe arrivare a valere 3-4 miliardi? Poi bisogna vedere quanto venderà, quote di mercato etc etc. Diciamo che in questo hype per i vaccini, se ora vale 400 milioni sarebbe ancora bassa in teoria.

Penso che ce la farà il Covaxin, tengo comunque le dita incrociate...

Sei tu quello preparato sull'aspetto tecnico , ma leggendo qua e là pare abbia veramente del potenziale, si può usare sui giovani, si può tenere a temperature standard, dovrebbe essere efficace anche con le mutazioni.
Ma soprattutto potrebbe essere il terzo vaccino dopo Pfizer e moderna visto che le fasi ormai sono alla fine in India.

Il vaccino sembra essere buono, anche se è un semplice virus attenuato. Ma se devi andare da Milano a Venezia ci puoi andare in mercedes classe s (come é la tecnologia mrna) comodo veloce e sicuro ma ci arrivi anche su una panda, anzi normalmente si spostano più persone in panda. E rispetto al vaccino J&J che arriverà tra poco sembra essere più efficace. Quello che mi lascia qualche dubbio è come una azienda biotech con ricerca su patologie degenerative retiniche, quindi prodotti di alto valore tecnologico e anche economico, abbia scelto di commercializzare un vaccino, che è quasi una commodity, quindi ho qualche riserva sulle sue capacitá di market acces e gestione dei key account.
Rispetto a qualche mese fa quando avevo paura del delisting ha fatto circa il 1000%. Capitalizza ancora meno di un miliardo. Almeno fino a 10 $ penso di restare dentro.
